I’ve been in the real estate business for 14 years, and many of my agent friends who work for larger companies always ask me the same thing: How do you sell so many homes with such a small team working for you as an independent brokerage?
My answer? It’s not the brokerage that’s creating business for you—it’s you. You’re the one selling to your client. You’re the one generating business, not the name behind your brand. People hire individuals, not companies.
I’ve worked for small, boutique real estate offices my entire career until I opened my own brokerage in 2016, and it’s been very rewarding. We’re a close-knit group, and I don’t like that corporate feel. A lot of people love the name of their larger brokerage, culture, and brand—and that’s perfectly fine—but I wanted to create that same feeling for our brokerage.
We also succeed as an independent brokerage because we have systems in place. There’s both structure and accountability here. We offer platforms, generate leads, and provide guidance and coaching.
With all of these factors aligned, we set our agents up for success. They’re free to do what’s money-productive for them. They spend most of their time calling warm leads that we provide, and they have zero lead expenses. With the platforms we provide them, buyers can search for homes. Aside from calling warm leads, their money-producing activities include showing homes, writing offers, and negotiating their own sales. We then provide all of the back-end support.
That being said, we’re always on the lookout for new agents to join our team. We want people who have goals, aspirations, and want to make a continuous six-figure income while working less and doing more of what they love.
Are you looking to increase your productivity and double your sales? Do you have a growth mindset and like to think outside the box? Are you not comfortable being comfortable?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, give me a call. I’d love to talk more about what my team and I can offer you. Our goal is to make you successful and help you earn a living that serves you and your family.
As always, if you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me as well. I look forward to hearing from you.
