The two leave-behinds every agent needs. There are two key materials every real estate agent should create, one for buyers and one for sellers. These are tools that build credibility and help clients feel supported long after your meeting ends.
Here’s what I hand out to my clients after our initial consultation:
1. Homebuyer’s guide. This guide is about 15 pages long and covers everything a homebuyer needs to know. It walks clients step by step through the buying process, helping them understand what to expect and how to prepare.
When you hand this guide to a potential buyer after a meeting, it becomes more than just information; it also shows your professionalism and genuine desire to help.
2. Home-seller guide. This one runs about 20 pages and is usually bound like a small book. It includes everything a homeowner should know before and during the selling process. By providing this, you’re giving sellers a clear roadmap, showing them you’re prepared to guide them every step of the way.
3. Quick-read pamphlets. You can also create smaller pamphlets for quick reference. These shorter handouts are perfect for open houses, meetings, or community events. They promote your services, educate your clients, and position you as an agent who cares about helping clients understand the process.
Leave-behinds aren’t just paper, but a physical reminder of your value. They show clients that you’re organized, knowledgeable, and serious about helping them make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
